Anchor Song: Window
Artist: Canton Jones
You probably would remember this line from a hit song in the nineties if you didn’t get born again from your mother’s womb, “the more money we come across the more problems we see”, and that lyric captures the thought for today’s Pill. I don’t know about you but I sure do intend to make a lot of money, it’s not because I’m covetous, I just believe driving Cars like a Rolls Royce Phantom would be a good way to practice heaven on earth, #Dassol! However, assuming the statement made in that song is true, then how do we make problem free money?
Most of us want to be rich, very rich. I think the desire for wealth especially among young people has skyrocketed, while this can be a good thing, the real test is what happens in your life after you make the money. My teacher would always say, that most men can bear the burden that comes with adversity, but very few can handle the weight of success. Bishop T.D Jakes said, “can you stand to be blessed?”
So, the question is, what must we do so as to enjoy our much desired wealth and still keep our souls saved? Ecclesiastes 7:12 says – Wisdom is like money: they both help. But wisdom is better, because it can save whoever has it[NCV]. Therefore, as much as you desire wealth, if there is one thing you should desire more, it should be wisdom. Solomon had money, but it was the wisdom he had that made the difference. Also, don’t forget that there is a wisdom of this world and there’s the wisdom that comes from above, so know the source of your wisdom. Its okay to desire wealth, but make sure that God is the only constant in that desire, and everything else a variable. God Bless You!
