God will Sustain You

Psalm 55:22, 1Peter 5:7, 1kings 17:9

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. *Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. *Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

After creating the wonderful garden and placing Adam in it, God Himself looked at Adam and saw that it was not good for him to be alone. As Adam yielded to God, God caused Eve, the wife that He had already provided for him, to manifest, Gen.2:18-25. God has actually already made provision for every need that you will ever have in this life. In our 3rd text above, God told Elijah that He had commanded the Zarephath woman to minister to his needs. God had already prepared the Zarephath woman to take care of Elijah’s needs at that time, long before the Brook Cherith dried up.

According to Isaiah 62:1-4, I declare unto you that for your sake God will not hold His peace, and for your sake God will not rest, until your righteousness thereof goes forth as brightness, and your salvation thereof as a lamp that burns. And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land

any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you.

God will not withhold any good thing from you, Psa.84:11. You will not lack any good thing, Psa. 34:10. As you continue to trust in God, you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters. Your leaves will always be green and you will continue to bear fruit, Jer.17:7.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me and for the wonderful provisions you have already made to sustain me.
