1Samuel 16:23, Luke 9:1-2
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. *Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
When you enter into an environment, the Spirit of God that is in you consumes that environment and gives you dominion over every other spirit therein. You are a carrier of God’s presence and you are an ambassador of Christ. You have been sent to that environment to establish God’s kingdom. You have dominion over it because Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords and all power in Heaven and on earth belongs to Him. Nothing can stop you from dominating your environment with the Kingdom and will of God.
There were times that evil spirits saw Jesus from afar and began to cry out in fear, Matt.8:28-29. That same Jesus lives in you. You carry His life, His presence, His authority and His Name wherever you find yourself. Even as a young boy who knew God, David simply played his harp and an evil spirit left Saul. Today, you will dominate every evil spirit in your environment. Remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, 1John 4:4.
In Mark 16:17-18 Jesus said, and these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. When you sense a negative spirit trying to dominate an environment or a person’s life, do not be afraid; take authority over it and cast it out in the name of Jesus. That spirit must flee because it is subject to the Spirit of God within you.
_Thank God for the dominion of Christ that you carry with you every where you find yourself today._
