It’s All About Jesus

Matthew 17:4-5 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said,

God wants all our attention to be on Jesus; both in this season as we celebrate His birth and at all times. The scriptures testify about Him, John 5:39. He is not just a man. He is God. He is not one of the prophets like some initially thought and others still think He is. He is the Christ; the Son of the Living God, Matt.16:13-17. He is the Word of God, John 1:1, 14. He is the express image of God’s person and everything God is saying now He is saying through Christ. Hebrews 1:1-3 says God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Despite all that He is, Jesus was still willing to leave all His glory and majesty in Heaven to come down to this earth and take on human form (Phil.2:5-7) just to fulfil God’s plan to save and redeem you and me. He is our dear, loving Saviour. He deserves all our attention and adoration always and in this special season. Let your gaze and attention be on Jesus. It is all about Jesus. He is the reason for the season.

Prayer Focus: Fix your attention on Jesus right now and worship Him for choosing to everything that was necessary to come down to this earth to save us.
