How God’s Kingdom Operates

above_only

Mark 4:26, Luke 8:10-11: And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as
if a man should cast seed into the ground; *And he said, Unto you it is
given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in
parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not
understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Have you noticed that in the majority of Jesus’ parables about the kingdom of God He spoke about the principle of the seed? This shows us that one way the kingdom of God majorly operates is similar to the principle of seedtime and harvest. In the majority of these parables, Jesus confirms that this seed is the Word of God. This also reveals that the Word of God is where we obtain direction on how the kingdom of God operates.
Whenever you are able to determine the will of God from His word, you receive the seed of the kingdom. When you do God’s will, you are sowing that seed of the kingdom which will cause you to reap a harvest of God’s will in your life. It is the word of God that gives us both faith and direction so that we can experience the will of God for our lives. Just as patience is extremely vital to the seedtime and harvest principle, patience is also vital as you apply the principles of God’s kingdom in your life. It is through faith and patience that we will inherit the promises of God, Heb.6:12.
As long as you have the Word of God in you and you are acting in line with it, your harvest is sure. God’s Kingdom will come and His will shall be done in your life. God is not a man that He should lie. If He has said it, it will come to pass.

Prayer Focus: Pray that God’s kingdom will come and that His
will shall be done in your life. Ask God for the grace to be patient
as you keep believing His Word and acting upon it.
