More than a Mother.

In light of this beautiful event loading, brethren, shall we open our bibles please?
“so that their youth is renewed like the eagle”
Amen, can you see what we see? The Bible quotation above certainly describes a phenomenon being experienced by our beloved Mama, don’t you agree? If you can see, please tap into this supernatural youthfulness oh! It is indeed a blessing to us and the entire world to celebrate her 75th birthday on the 29th of July, 2018. So sit back and read a few things about her.

She is married to the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the founder of the Church of God Mission International who also began the vision of an interdenominational fellowship on campus, Christian Fellowship international (CFi).

She is the first Nigerian woman to be ordained as Archbishop and the first female Chancellor of a university in Africa. She became an Archbishop in November 2009.
In addition to the brief introduction above, let’s tell you a little more about our own Mama!
Our Mama being everything mentioned above is a woman driven by love for God. Aging gracefully at 75, She only looks like she is just 50 with 25 years of experience. Yes, we certainly want to have cakes with candles to mark the number of years she has spent on earth. However, Her birthday celebration is unique because it is not just about lit candles and elaborate celebrations but the numerous lives that have received light. Hers is a life consumed with passion for God and advancement of his kingdom. A woman who has shown us the power of humility, forgiveness, faith, love and team work. An icon that naturally inspires and motivates others.
A quote says that “Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown”, but Mama has shown that the grace of God is sufficient to wear that crown as she radiantly smiles and sends her message home.
Today and tomorrow, as CFi commemorates her birthday, we raise our voices in thanksgiving to God for her reliability, integrity and extraordinary leadership qualities.
Mama, you are a quintessential Mother!
We celebrate and salute a tenacious Arch Bishop and General of God’s army.
May our heavenly Father continue to protect, provide and guide you through many more fruitful years.
Congratulations and Happy Birthday!
